My mixxit is not working

I push the start button and it doesn’t work?

Press the start button 2x quickly to start.

Make sure the motor is properly connected to the bottle. On the top bottle, you will see a transparent half moon below the text, this must be in the middle of the dotted line on the motor.

Do not fill your Mixxit beyond the recommended amounts.

With the motor connected correctly, you can add the ingredients through the neck of the bottle. Do not fill more than about 1 cm below the beginning of the neck.

You can also place the bottle upside down and fill it for larger pieces, do not fill more than 1 cm below the text. Make sure you attach the motor correctly to the Mixxit afterward.

Always make sure you put enough liquid White Mixxit for a smooth blend.

A white light is on?

If you unscrew the bottle from your Mixxit base, do you see a small magnet? This is located in the swivel area on the bottle just below the text and transparent half moon. This magnet is difficult to see, so look for a small rectangle with a grayish color.

There is a safety mechanism in the Mixxit, this means that if the bottle is not placed correctly on the motor you will not be able to charge or blend.

A red light is on.

Is your Mixxit charged? If you see a red light, this means the battery is flat.

Check that the charger is properly connected to the USB socket on the Mixxit.

I cannot properly clean my Mixxit

There are several options for cleaning your Mixxit…

The bottle is dishwasher safe with the rubber handle removed.

The motor is handwash only and should not remain underwater for too long.

*Water damage is not covered by the warranty.

When using a sponge it is recommended to use the soft side to avoid scratches in the Mixxit.

Filling your Mixxit

With the motor connected correctly, you can add the ingredients through the neck of the bottle. Do not fill more than about 1 cm below the beginning of the neck.

Be sure you attach the motor correctly to the Mixxit afterward.

How far can I fill my Mixxit?

The total amount of ingredients and liquids may be just below the narrowed part of the neck of the bottle.

If you fill your Mixxit upside down, fill it up to 1cm below the letters on the bottle.

How long does a single mix time take?

A single mix time takes 30 seconds. After this time, your Mixxit will stop blending itself.

How do I turn on my Mixxit?

To switch on your Mixxit, press the power button located at the bottom of your Mixxit twice in quick succession.

How do I turn off my Mixxit?

You can switch off your Mixxit by pressing the power button once, or let run and Mixxit will shut itself down after 30 seconds.

Cleaning

Option 1

Fill your Mixxit with water and a small drop of washing-up liquid and start your Mixxit as normal.

Option 2

Remove the motor from the bottle by turning to the left.

The motor is handwash only and should not remain underwater for too long.

The bottle is dishwasher safe without the included handle.

What is aloud in my Mixxit?

Frozen fruit

Mixxit has no problems with blending frozen fruit.

Add a frozen fruit mix of your choice and some milk to your Mixxit for a delicious smoothie on the go in no time! The most important thing is to always add enough liquid for an easy blend.

Seeds and nuts

Seeds and nuts are a good source of protein and therefore the ideal ingredient for a healthy start to the day.

Add a handful of seeds/nuts and liquid of your choice to your Mixxit for a source of fiber and protein in your smoothie.

Leaf greens and vegetables

Mix a handful of spinach with a liquid of your choice in your Mixxit for a green smoothie full of vitamins and minerals.

Ice blocks

We do not recommend crushing ice in your Mixxit or blending an excess of ice in your smoothie.

Mixxit is powerful enough to mix ice blocks in combination with a liquid, but this can be detrimental to the knives in the long term.

WELCOME TO MIXXIT 101!

On this page, we will help you use your Mixxit.

Please follow these instructions step by step to avoid minimal mistakes.

When your Mixxit arrives there will be a QR code on the box if you scan this you will be directed here. You will also find an instruction sheet in the box, please read both carefully.

Upon opening the box you will see your charger, do not throw this away.

Mixxit is charged via the USB port, this means you can charge your Mixxit from your laptop, PC, or from a wall outlet.

Fully charging the Mixxit takes 2-3h.

Take your Mixxit out of the box.

First, we will do a brief check for manufacturing defects.

Is there a rubber handle around the neck of your Mixxit?

When you unscrew the top bottle from your Mixxit do you see a small magnet?

This is located in the turning area on the bottle just below the text and transparent half moon. This magnet is hard to see, so look for a small rectangle with a grayish color.

Put water in your Mixxit and seal tightly. Move your Mixxit to different sides to see if your Mixxit stays dry on the outside, and is therefore leak-proof.
Check if the start button sits correctly, this means it sits nice and straight and you can go over it smoothly.
If you see any errors with your Mixxit please mail to the customer service of the website or store where you bought your Mixxit.
Before you begin, you must fully and properly charge your Mixxit.

This will help with your battery life.

Place the top bottle correctly on the engine. On the top bottle, you will see a transparent half moon under the text, it must be centered on the dotted line on the engine. All other ways will not work.

There is a safety device in the Mixxit, this means that if the top bottle is not correctly positioned on the motor you will not be able to charge it and you will not be able to blend.
Place the Mixxit correctly on the charger.
When charging, the light on the charger will flicker quietly, this is how you know your Mixxit is charging. If the light stays on, your Mixxit is finished charging. If the light stays on immediately it is possible that your Mixxit is not correctly connected to the charger.
Your Mixxit is fully charged and you are ready for your first smoothie.

Now you can choose how to fill your Mixxit.

With the motor connected correctly, you can add the ingredients through the neck of the bottle. Then you should fill no further than about 1cm below the start of the neck.

You can also place the bottle upside down and fill it that way for larger pieces, in which case you may fill no further than 1cm below the text. Afterward, make sure you attach the motor correctly to the Mixxit

Starting your Mixxit.

To start press the start button twice quickly, your Mixxit will blend for 30 seconds and then stop automatically. To stop your Mixxit push the start button 1x short.

All other ways will not work and you should not push the button hard either. While blending you may also shake your Mixxit to make blending easier.

If you see a red light this means your battery is low, if it’s fully charged then you need to see if your Mixxit is attached correctly.

What is allowed in my Mixxit?

We always recommend using a liquid when making a smoothie, this makes blending easier.

Mixxit is a blender and not a crusher, this means you cannot blend ice, nuts etc without a liquid.

Wireless charging – Charge

Your Mixxit in 2-3 hours using the included charging station.

Your Mixxit is properly connected if the charger is stuck when lifting your Mixxit.

Charging is only possible with the top bottle correctly connected to the motor housing. The transparent half moon on the top bottle should be in the center of the dots on the motor housing.

8-10 blends

Mixxit can blend 8-10 times per full charge.

Status of the battery

The light on your charging station tells you the status of your battery.

If the light flashes, your Mixxit is charging.

If the light stays on, your Mixxit is fully charged.

If the light is not lit, your Mixxit is not correctly connected to the bottle or to the charger.

Colours of the light

The light at the bottom of my Mixxit flashes white.

Your transparent top bottle is not correctly mounted on the colored motor housing. Make sure that the half moon of the top bottle is (approximately) in the middle of the dotted line that you find on the motor housing. Also check if there is a magnet in the top bottle, you can find it under the transparent half moon.

The battery of your Mixxit needs to be charged. Place your Mixxit on the supplied charging station.

Charging is only possible with the top bottle correctly attached to the motor housing.
